World's easiest holiday make-up look!

Happy Wednesday you guys!
I am currently moving (I will write about it later), which is why I've been a bit busy. Busy days mean that I don't have much time to do my make-up.
However, in these festive days, I like doing something extra. So here is, the world's easiest holiday make-up look!

I used three eyeliners for this look. My black one, which I used to draw my winged eyeliner and two glittery ones. I used them above the black line and on my lower lashline (be careful not to put these on your waterline if you try out this look).

I got a dark blue glittery eyeliner and a gold glittery eyeliner. Both of these eyeliners are by 2B, which is a budget drugstore brand. I will have a review on these eyeliners online soon.

Some mascara.... and done!

A festive make-up look ♥

Those of you who follow me on Instagram, have probably seen that recently I started to post more "eye of the day" posts/make-up looks.
Today's look is a gold/cranberry festive make-up look that's really great for the holidays. I think I will wear this on Christmas Day!

This look is very simple, yet so so beautiful! I used two pigments on my eyelid, which makes this look very sparkly and so beautiful. You can find a list of all the other products used on my eyes below.

The close up pictures tend to get very dark. I hope you can still see how it looks.

I used my "Nude Tude" and "Nude Dude" palette by The Balm, my two MAC pigments called "Rose" and "Melon", and also a Maybelline Color Tattoo in "Metallic Pomegranate".

Have a nice Christmas! ♥

Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone!
Christmas break has started and I'm very busy moving out (I will tell you more about it later) and studying for the exams that I will be taking in January.
I just wanted to stop by to wish all of you very happy holidays.

I hope all of you have a nice warm home and people you love around you. Enjoy the food, embrace the festive spirit and don't forget to tell your friends and family what they mean to you. We don't do it often enough!

Much love, Eva.

EOTD: Cranberry love

Cranberry is a colour that I tend to wear a lot during the holiday season. I do it every year, it just gets me in the Christmas spirit.

Today I went for a kind of smokey eye with my Nude Dude make-up palette by The Balm. I chose not to go with black liquid eyeliner, since my shadows are already so dark. I did use some white eyeliner on my waterline to brighten up my eyes and look more awake.

The pictures are quite dark as well, that's because of the natural light.

These are the eyeshadow colours that I used the most. I used "Feisty" in my crease, going all the way from the inner corner to the outer corner and blending it out nicely.
Next, I applied "Funny", about halfway in my crease, and while blending I also brought it on my lid a little bit.

After that, I applied "Friendly" in my outer corner. I also applied some of the darker colour on my lower lashline.
I finished the look with some mascara.

Smokey greens for winter queens ♥

Goodmorning!
Last week, I showed you a very daytime make-up look for Christmas. Today, I have another make-up look for you. It's another green make-up look, but a lot more smokey and darker than the other one.

Here's a list of all the products that I used on my eyes:

I decided not to go for eyeliner because this look is dark engouh as it is. The trick to achieving this look is just keep adding and blending until you're happy with the result. This is how I did it, but you can always do it your own way.

I started with applying the browns in my crease and later on mixing and applying the greens on my lid. I applied a white eyeliner to brighten up my eyes a little bit, but a black eyeliner would look really good as well - especially if you're going for a very dramatic look.
I would also apply some false lashes if I was going out or if I was having a family lunch.

What do you think of this look?
Have a lovely day!

Manicure Monday: happy girls are pretty!

Recently, Essence has released a collection called "happy girls are pretty". Such a beautiful name! I wasn't just impressed by the cuteness of the name, but also by their cute nailpolish!

This is such a cute grey/purple nailpolish. This nailpolish is a little bit textured, like sand. You can't feel it though. It's hard to explain. It covers in two layers, but I always apply three (just to be sure).

BRUGES BY NIGHT - part 2 ♥

A couple of days I showed you around Bruges. I had quite a lot of pictures from my nightly trip, so I decided to split this post into two parts.
You have gotten the chance to check out the first part, I don't want to keep you waiting so that's why today I'm presenting part two!

Enjoy!

Balm voyage fall make-up look

Hello you guys! How are you doing?
I have been playing around with a couple of my new things. Today I played around with my new make-up palette by The Balm called "Balm Voyage" and my new Nikon D3300.

I still have to learn how to use this camera correctly, because I think the colours in these photo's might be a little bit too dark, but it could also be because of the weather.

I used A4, B4, D4 and D3 for this look.
The colours are insanely pigmented and are amazing to use.  Because my look turned out to be quite dark, I decided not to go overboard with my eyeliner. No wing, just a small line across the lid.

BRUGES BY NIGHT - part 1 ♥

Living in Bruges, a rather well known medieval city, is something that I'm used to. I walk across many important and well known buildings everyday and to be honest, I don't always pay enough attention to it. Last week, after work, I got a tour through Bruges (because even though I live here, I still have a lot to discover)!

The city is covered in Christmas lights and walking through the small streets with a waffle in one hand and a camera in the other hand is such a pleasure.
I visited not only the Christmas market, but also a radio station and a couple of hotels.
I had my camera with me and snapped a couple of pictures. Of course, I want to share these pictures with you!

Get yourself a cup of coffee and maybe something to eat, and let me guide you through Bruges in this post.
Discover the breathtaking city I live in. Let the city that looks like a painting inspire you. I hope my pictures are something nice to look at.

I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading.
Have a nice day!

Day time Christmas make-up look ♥

Goodmorning everyone!
Today's look is a day time, appropriate Christmas make-up look. I love smokey eyes and over the top make-up looks as much as the next person, but people who work in the service industry (for example) have to keep it appropriate.

That's why I created a make-up look that's a bit festive, but still very wearable.
I used my two newest MAC eyeshadows (called "Steamy" and "Plumage") for this, but I also used my "Vanity" palette by Wet 'n Wild, which is a very affordable brand.

I used the brown colours from my "Vanity" palette in the crease. I just darkened the crease up until I was happy with the result. Then I used "Plumage", the darkest MAC colour in in the outer corner and also on the inner corner. I left the space in between (in the middle of my lid) blank and later on applied "Steamy".

I finished the look by applying eyeliner and mascara. Both are by Essence.

And here's a full face picture!
I absolutely love how this look turned out! I didn't know exactly where I was going with this look, but I'm satisfied with the result!

I hope you like this look! Let me know what you think!
