OOTD: Pin-up girls!

Hello you guys!
Today I have a little outfit of the day for you! This is the outfit I wore yesterday, while hanging balloons for me and my sister's birthday tomorrow!

The outfit that I wore was quite simple, I paired my high waisted jeans with a T-shirt that has a pin-up drawing on it.
I went for nude little ballet flats.

T-shirt: flea market
Jeans: New Yorker
Nude ballet flats: H&M

I'm very excited! This outfit was rather simple, but it's cute.
I paired it with a dotted little cardigan from H&M, but it's not in the pictures.

Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day!

A little haul!

Hello everyone!
As you know, I love to shop a little bit. Last week, I needed a new pair of shoes to work with and I got a few other things.
Non of them are fashion or beauty related, so instead of reviewing them or putting them in an outfit of the day, I'll just show you what I got in this post!

This little pouch is from New Look. I've had my eye on it for quite a while now! How cute! And especially handy to keep your change in.

I also got a new bikini, now let's hope the weather gets better! This one is by New Look as well!

I treated myself... with a perfume! I never really spend a lot of money on perfume but now I wanted a nice one that I can use everyday.
I decided I'd rather spend a bit more money on a good quality perfume, so here it is! "Miss Dior" by Dior!

I also got this cooling foot spray by The Body Shop. It's no secret I'm a big fan of The Body Shop.
I had never tried foot spray before, but I thought I'd give it a try. I work in the service industry and it's nice to have good products for your feet, since they can hurt a lot (especially after a long day of work)!

Thank you for reading!
Have a lovely day!

EOTD: Soft and sweet!

Hello everyone!
Last Sunday I tried something new. Instead of using liquid eyeliner, I decided I'd go for black eyeshadow this time. I normally wouldn't do this do this (I can't imagine leaving my house without eyeliner), but hey, sometimes it's time for something new!

I actually thing the result was really nice! It wasn't as hard as always and when I came home, it still looked good. I'm not saying I'll never use liquid eyeliner again, but it was to do it differently this time!
For this eyeliner, I used "Serious", the black eyeshadow from my Nude 'Tude palette by The Balm.

Aside from the eyeliner, I also used my Maybelline Colour Tattoo in "Pink Gold".
The mascara that I used is by Essence!

What do you think of this make-up look?

My Bucket List

Hey you guys!
I know I rarely do lifestyle posts but recently I've been thinking about a Bucket list. I'm almost 18 years old now and I don't know what I want to achieve in life yet, but I do know I want to see and do some extraordinairy things, that's why I made a Bucket list!

Here are the things on my Bucket list:
  • Go on a cruise
  • See a dolphin in the wild
  • Draw an owl or a swan (in detail) on my own

  • Write a Young Adult book
  • Open up a pin-up shop
  • Become a MAC make-up artist

  • Save a life
  • Learn to play a musical instrument (preferably the guitar & the piano)
I don't have many things on the list yet because I haven't thought about other things yet, but it's a nice start!

What do you have on your Bucket list?

Weekly Diary

Happy Sunday! How have you been doing?
Sunday means a review of the whole week, so here it is!

The week started with really bad weather. It was hot, but rainy and we had lightening and thunder.
Luckely, it got better.
I spent a lot of time outside with my pets. Our guinea pigs had babies again! I spent some time taking pictures. Doesn't the mom look so adorable in this picture? She's lovely!

This is Mini, the weakest and smallest one in the bunch. She couldn't ear for herself, she was blind on the left side and walking was hard for her. She was so small so I decided to take her under my wings. I fed her, held her,... Unfortunately, her heart failed in middle of the night, right after I held her and tried to calm her down a little. I will for sure miss my little one.

This week I also went to a flea market. I bought a pin-up t-shirt, a whooole lot of books and... a guitar! I have been asking my parents for one since I was 11 and they never let me get one, but this time, my dad didn't stop me from buying it.
I'm so glad! Now it's time to practice again!

I also read a lot of books and watched a lot of movies. I love the summer, it's the time to do nothing and enjoy life - so I catched up on some reading and movies.
I watched the first Harry Potter movie - again. I just really love the movies and I love watching them again once in a while.

I also watched "Upside Down", such a fascinating movie! It was recommended to me by a friend, it's a kind of sci fi/ dystopian movie and he knew I'd love it since I also love this kind of books.
I didn't quite get the ending though...

Aside from all of that, I have been planning a little something for my birthday. You only turn 18 once! I normally never throw birthday parties, but this year I have decided I want to spend a day with my friends and I want to have fun! Looking forward to it!

How have you been?

Bookreview: "Delirium" by Lauren Oliver ♥

Hey you guys!
How are you doing? Last night I couldn't sleep due to the heat, so I decided to read a little bit... I read "Delirium" by Lauren Oliver, and finished the book. This book is the first book in the "Delirium" trilogy.

Basically this book is a Young Adult, dystopian book. It's about a society where Love is believed to be an illness. You can even die from it.
So to stop people from getting infected, everyone gets a surgery when they're 18, which stops them from being able to love. All the people live thesame boring lives, day by day, without love for each other. They believe not being able to love is the only way to a happy life.

Lena, the main character, can't wait to get her surgery. Her mom and dad were killed because of Love and she is scared of it. So she counts the days until her Surgery.
But then she meets Alex and before she knows it, she falls in love with him - only a couple of weeks before the Surgery. Now Lena has to choose: the Surgery or Alex?

I was very surprised by this book. I didn't think I would get into it because I love "Love", but it's actually written very well and I can understand why people would fear Love - it makes you unstable.
A lot of things happened and it never really went how I expected it.
The book actually made me think of our society and what is going on in our lives. I can see something like this happening in the future!
It only took me a couple of days to read this book and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel: "Pandemonium".

I would recommend this book to everyone who is into young adult and dystopian books. If you like "The Hunger Games" and the "Divergent" series, you will for sure love this book!
Check it out!

Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day!

MUA "Undress me too" palette review

Hello everyone! Happy Friday!
How are you doing? Last week I told you about my new palette by MUA called "Undressed", but I haven't told you about the second palette, called "Undress me too"!
This palette is - just like the "Undressed" palette - a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palettes.

This palette has more warm colours than the last palette. In the "Undressed" palette I found a couple of pink and brown colours, but this palette has more golds and yellows.
I love gold eyeshadow! Gold eyeshadow makes light eyes (especially blue eyes) pop!

The packaging of this palette is rather simple. This one is packed in white plastic and holds a white brush (the other one was all black). Just like "Undressed", "Undress me too" holds 12 colours, some of them are matte and some of them are shimmery.

Here are the swatches.
I'm quite satisfied. I wasn't very impressed with the other palette because the colours were so light and they didn't look very pigmented, but the colours in this palette and the quality of the palette does please me!
Both the lighter and darker colours are all well pigmented. They are buildable and easy to blend out.

I like this palette a lot. I think the colour payoff is good, the colours are nice, the price is okay.
If you have been doubting to pick this palette up, I suggest you give it a try!
Especially people who want a nice palette that can be used to made for all kinds of different looks or for people who don't wear colour a lot - this is your palette!

Have a lovely day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Book haul!

Happy Wednesday!
I have been reading a lot these last months, and of course when I'm out of books, I like to buy a couple of new ones.
Today I'm here with a new book haul.

The first one that I got is "The Selection" by Kiera Cass. It's about 35 girls who all want to win one prince's heart. It reminds me of reality tv a little bit, I hope it will be better than reality tv. This is the first book of a series. I'm quite curious!

Next I also got "Pandemonium" and "Requiem", the second and third book in the "Delirium" series by Lauren Oliver.
I have almost finished the first book, "Delirium" and I'm craving more!
I will be writing more book reviews soon!

Thanks for reading! Have a lovely day!

Weekly Diary

Hello everyone! How are you doing?
I hope you're having an amazing Sunday! Today I'm going to be showing you what my week has been like!

As you know, I've been to a car show last week, and there my sister's boyfriend found this T-shirt. They know that I'm a huge Marilyn Monroe fan, so they got it for me! Thanks again!

Next day: watching TV. We were suppost to go watch "22 jump street" in theatres, but there was a problem with the buses so we went back home and watched some TV instead.
My skirt acted as a blanket! Great!

I've also been swimming this week! The picture below is 1 year old already, but the outfit I wore to the pool is thesame!
I love my pin-up bathing suit!

The day after, I noticed my shoulders were burnt! They hurt so much! So we didn't go to the pool, we went for a little walk in the city. I thought I would be shopping, but it was just too hot. I got a few things (I walked into the bookstore really quick), but after that we enjoyed a Starbucks and went home early.

My sister and I went to Zara home! Look what we found! Too cute!
Later that night I went to see a friend who drew me this adorable little swan! Well, he is in the process of drawing it. Life must be so much fun when you're talented! If I could draw like that, I'd never stop!

On Friday, a good friend of mine celebrated her birthday! We brunched together! I think it was so much fun! I certainly enjoyed it!

I think this week has been a pretty good week and I can really say I'm making the most of everyday and I'm enjoying my life as much as I can right now!

I hope you're enjoying as much as you can as well! Have a lovely Sunday!
